1. The skin should be clean and free of oils or makeup. Cut out the tattoo of your choice and remove the clear protective top layer.
2. Press the tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin with the design facing downwards..
3. Hold a wet cloth against the back of the tattoo, press down and make sure to wet it thoroughly..
4. Wait 30 seconds (don’t hurry), then gently remove the paper..
5. Gently rinse the image with water for the best effect. Allow the tattoo to dry. The tattoo is waterproof.

REMOVAL

Saturate the tattoo with household rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Wait 10 seconds and then rub away the tattoo with a cotton ball.

Tattoos are 4c offset printed as a mirror image on special glossy paper. Special non-toxic colors and pigments are used for printing, which are best matched to the CMYK color range. After the initial full color graphics are printed, the extra white color is applied to the graphic where needed, and then the special non-toxic glue is added as the top layer. When printing is completed, a clear protective foil is placed on top to protect the whole tattoo. The tattoo sheets are then cut into the desired size and finally packed individually in polybags (if not ordered otherwise).

A tattoo sheet is a special paper that holds a printed graphic. One sheet can have multiple tattoo graphics. The maximum number is limited only by the size of the sheet – the bigger the sheet, the more tattoos you can have on it. The recommended gap between the tattoos is at least 10 mm – for easier cutting and separation. For quotation and ordering purposes, we will always quote and refer to the tattoo sheet size. So a 5 x 5 cm tattoo means that the sheet is actually sized 5x5 cm, and the tattoo itself is within that size (recommended gap between the outline of tattoo and the sheet is at least 3 mm). For instance, if you want to use a 5 x 5 cm tattoo sheet, the tattoo graphic should be a maximum size of 4,4 x 4,4 cm.

We can produce any size tattoo, so please send us your inquiry and we will gladly prepare the best offer for your tattoos. Most popular tattoo sheet sizes are 5 x 5 cm (for single tattoo) and 15 x 10 cm (for multiple tattoos). The recommended minimum sheet size is 3 x 3 cm.

You can easily choose your size based on a few quick questions:

a) How many tattoo graphics would you like to have on one sheet?
b) How will you distribute the individual tattoos to end users?
c) Would you like to add some extra features on the backside of the tattoos such as: advertisements, product presentation, extended instruction etc.?

For instance, if you have just one character/graphic and would like to distribute the tattoo with your retail product and need only basic instructions of use, than you can easily choose the 5 x 5 cm size. It is big enough for your chosen graphic and instructions and compact enough to be packed with your chosen product.

But if you would like to have more than one character/graphic, send the tattoos by mail or give them out personally at on-site promotions, add additional information about your company/products/etc., then the bigger 10 x 15 cm size is right for you. It’s still small enough to fit in most standard mailings, leaflets, magazines, etc. yet big enough to hold up to 9-12 different characters/graphics and offer a large additional advertising space on its backside.

There are almost no limits to what you can use as a design for your tattoos. It can be a logo, illustration or photo, vector or bitmap, the choice is yours. We just recommend that for best results you use simple, colorful and strong designs with vivid colors, so they will be strongly visible when applied to the skin. But as mentioned, the choice is yours. If you need any help or suggestions regarding the design, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Your graphics should be prepared in CMYK, ratio 1:1, all text in outlines. The image(s) should have atleast 3 mm margin from the edges. For best results, you can use vector images. If using bitmap, we recommend that you use at least a 300 dpi resolution. We accept EPS, AI or PDF files. Standard production time for custom made promotional tattoos is approx 2-3 weeks after order confirmation and depends on the quantity and season. If needed, we can also meet shorter deadlines but this must be checked and confirmed individually. After production, the standard delivery time depends on your location but for EU it is normally 1-4 working days. We can also arrange next-day deliveries to most EU countries but this should also be checked and confirmed individually.
